We all know dogs can struggle in warm weather, but what about when the temperature plummets, the wind whistles and snow falls?

For humans, winter usually heralds a wardrobe overhaul. Woolly jumpers, hats, gloves and the ubiquitous “big coat” become daily attire – but what about our pet dogs? Do they need a winter wardrobe too?

From raincoats to fleecy jumpers, snoods to booties, here are five reasons why your dog might need canine clothing this winter.
