Le 29 avril 2024, 4 millions de Togolais ont été appelés aux urnes pour participer à un double scrutin visant à élire 113 députés et 179 conseillers régionaux. Ces élection ont consacré une écrasante victoire du parti au pouvoir, l'Union pour la République (Unir), qui a remporté plus 96 % des sièges à l'Assemblée nationale. L'opposition n'a obtenu que 5 % des sièges. Le taux de participation s'élève à 61,76 %, selon les chiffres confirmés par la Cour…La Conversation
