Conflict in Somalia fuelling trafficking of girls

The vehicles that ferry to Somalia also transport young girls and women for purposes of human trafficking, a Kenyan NGO revealed.

And there are other businessmen and women who are also trafficking young girls either to brothel houses in Nairobi, European countries or other [places] out of the country or abroad.

The agency says girls are tricked into the business with promises of jobs.

They are lured into this business because they are told they will be taken for resettlement and when they are taken they become prisoners of commercial sex work. We can do very little because the law enforcement is very loose. The police are not very cooperative.
It is like issues of women are not a big issue. After all women are objects for the pleasure of men.
