MYSTERY SHIP CAPTURED IN SOMALIA RELEASED AGAIN

17 crew with 15 Indian and two Pakistani sailors plus one Somali escort unharmed, marine observers working with ECOTERRA Intl. reported. The ship is sailing to Mogadishu.

Though the captors had in the beginning demanded a US$3m ransom, a much, much lower sum was delivered to the vessel overnight and this morning the commander and his gunmen left the 2000to ship, whose cargo was first said to have also consisted of military weapons up to smaller missiles, an account which was strongly disputed by the owner of the vessel as well as the consignees of the other cargo.
