Somali Foreign minister meets with his Italian counterpart

Somalia’s Foreign Minister, Ali Jama Jangali, has met with his Italian counterpart Franco Frattini in Rome, Italy on Friday and discussed about the current Somali problems.

Mr. Jangali said he discussed with his counterpart about the security issues, and the economy of Somalia.

“Italy is the only government that paid the money it pledged in Brussels at the international community summit,” said Somali Foreign Minister Ali Jama Janagali.

He called for the other governments to pay the money they pledged at the Brussels meeting.

He praised Italy for its efforts to help the Somali government about the security and stability in the country.

Franco Frattini, the Italian Foreign Minister also promised to his counterpart that Italy would continue to support the peace efforts in Somalia.
