The Foreign Ministry earlier told the Daily Mirror that Lankan missions in Nairobi and Canberra were coordinating with relevant officials to ensure the safety and quick return of the Sri Lankans who worked on board the ship that was hijacked by pirates off the coast of Oman on the June 13.
