Akio Yonago's son received a fax from his father hours ago. Akio has arrived in Phuket, and is safe and sound. Reports that he might have been sea-jacked on 28th April by Somali pirates triggered our search-and-rescue operation along the whole Indian Ocean Coast in Somalia, looking for him and his boat. Fellow sailors and YACHT-PALS, the worlds largest boating community, also searched for him with no result. Nobody knew where he was until today. The tough sailor dodged everybody - even the pirates.
