Iran dispatches Warships to Gulf of Aden

Iran has dispatched six warships to the Gulf of Aden. The news was released by the Iranian press agency ISNA, reporting a declaration by Admiral Habibollah Sayyari.

The ships' presence, the Admiral said, is a signal to anyone who would want to militarily face the Ayatollah regime. On May 14, the Admiral had announced the dispatch of two further warships to the Gulf of Aden to protect Iranian oil tankers from pirate attacks.
