Stephen Harper - Canada cannot remain neutral in dealing with terrorists

TORONTO - In his first speech to the Jewish community since being elected, Harper told attendees at B'nai Brith's Annual dinner that Israel can count on Canada's steadfast friendship and support. The Canadian Prime Minister said he cannot and will not be neutral in dealing with terrorists, and therefore Israel has his government's full support.

Mr. Harper said that there must also be a fair and just future for the Palestinian people.

Last week, Stephen Harper said the candidates vying for the leadership of the Liberal party were anti-Israel.
