Arkadi Zaides uses dance as a means to critically explore his country’s identity. A graduate of the prestigious Batsheva Dance Company, he is the creator of nearly a dozen pieces. Born in the Soviet Union in 1979, Arkadi Zaides immigrated to Israel in 1990.

Quiet: a high-impact work of impressive courage

Arkadi Zaides’s work has been acclaimed in Europe, Asia and North America. After Tel Aviv, New York, Bilbao and Tokyo, Montreal is the only Canadian stop on this leg of a world tour that began in 2010.
