Reports: US Economy Poised for Growth

The U.S. job market is healing, U.S. inflation is very modest, and the overall economy is poised to grow more strongly next year and in 2016. Those are the key messages from a series of economic reports published Thursday. The number of Americans signing up for unemployment compensation fell 2,000 to a nationwide total of 291,000.
